Today as I walked home from the coffee shop dozens upon dozens of butterflies sped their way past me the whole way. Small, orange, and flitting about everywhere. I may have laughed with the sheer joy of it once or twice. Or three times.
I hoped one would stop for a moment so I could get a better look or maybe take a picture, but there was no stopping for them. Down the street, over the houses, and gone, one after the other.
